Preparing for a Personal Consultation
A personal consultation begins with you; your questions, your experiences, and whatever has brought you to this moment. You don’t need previous experience with tarot or astrology, and you don’t need to arrive with everything figured out.
A little preparation can help you feel comfortable and make thoughtful use of our time together.
Consider what you would like to explore
Before your appointment, take a quiet moment to ask yourself what has been on your mind. Perhaps you are navigating a transition, noticing a recurring pattern, or looking for a fresh perspective.
Choose one or two topics that matter most to you. You are welcome to write them down so they are easy to remember when we begin.
Bring questions that invite reflection
Questions that begin with “What,” “How,” or “Where” can open a useful conversation. For example:
- What would I like to understand about this transition?
- How can I approach this situation with greater awareness?
- Where might I be overlooking a choice or possibility?
- What patterns would I like to change?
You don’t need perfect wording. We can explore your questions together.
Prepare any details needed for your session
For an astrology consultation, have your birth date, birthplace, and birth time available, and follow any instructions provided before your appointment. If you don’t know your birth time, let me know rather than guessing so we can discuss what can be explored.
For a tarot consultation, bring your questions and any context you feel comfortable sharing. There is no need to bring your own deck.
A notebook and pen can be useful if you would like to record your reflections.
Give yourself room to settle
Allow a few minutes before the session so you can arrive without rushing. If we are meeting remotely, check your connection and choose a quiet, comfortable place where you can speak freely.
You are welcome to ask questions, request clarification, or say when a topic feels too personal. Your comfort matters.
Keep your own judgment at the center
I approach tarot and astrology as tools for reflection and exploring perspective. A consultation offers space to consider possibilities; it does not promise a fixed future or make decisions for you.
You remain the person best placed to decide what fits your life. Consultations do not replace qualified medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice.
Leave space for reflection afterward
You may find it helpful to set aside a few quiet minutes after our conversation. Write down what stood out, what you want to consider further, and any practical step you would like to take.
You don’t need to act on everything immediately. Sometimes a thoughtful question is something to sit with.
My aim is to offer a welcoming conversation in which you feel heard, respected, and free to explore your own journey.
